Data We Don't Collect

  • Your subscription data — All subscription information you enter is stored locally on your computer in a SQLite database
  • Bank account information — We never ask for or access your bank credentials
  • Payment card details — Transactions are processed by secure third-party processors
  • Personal identification — No account required to use the application

Data We May Collect

When you use optional features or purchase a license, we may collect:

  • Email address — Only if you purchase a license, for delivery of your license key
  • License key information — To verify your subscription plan
  • AI analysis requests — If you use AI features, the text you submit is processed but not stored
  • Anonymous usage analytics — Basic app usage statistics to improve the product (can be disabled)

AI Feature Privacy

When you use the AI statement analysis feature:

  • You control exactly what text is sent for analysis
  • Your data is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic Claude)
  • Data is not stored after processing
  • This feature is entirely optional

Local Data Storage

SubScriptor stores all your subscription data locally:

  • Location: %APPDATA%\com.subscriptor.io\
  • Format: SQLite database
  • Control: You can export, backup, or delete this data at any time

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Payment processing: Stripe (for license purchases)
  • AI services: Anthropic (for optional AI features)

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • HTTPS encryption for all network communications
  • No persistent storage of sensitive user data on our servers
